1. Are there any hidden fees?

No, There are no additional charges with our free hosting service and we will not try to sell you upgrades.

2. Are there any restrictions to the type of sites I can run?

Yes, There are several types of sites that we do not allow. Here is a short list of the most commonly not allowed but it is not limited to this.
Any negative, racial, hate, overly religious, illegal, promoting illegal activities, porn, drugs, pharmaceuticals, link farms, spam, phishing, copyright materials, and many other types of site that will be at our discretion.
If something like this is found on our servers when we do a regular scan of all files the appropriate action will be taken. We do not tollerate this use.

3. Will ads be shown on my site?

No, Currently in the very bottom of all sites there will be small text that says "Free Hosting by FreeHostingSpot.com" and that's it. Our Hosting is ad free!

5. Am I allowed to put my own ads on my site?

Yes, Unlike alot of other free hosting services you are allowed to place your own contextual or banner driven ads on your site. As long as the ads comply with our content rules above and in out full terms of service. (no nudity, etc.)

6. Do you offer PHP, MySQL Databases or CGI?

Yes, This is something really special that we're happy to offer you.
All hosting accounts will have use of PHP with MySQL.
No account is given CGI access at this time. Most things that you can do in CGI can be done in php instead.

7. Can I use email with your free hosting?

Yes, all our free hosting accounts have the use of Nutsmail email. You can see this in your control panel or access it remotely with a mail client like Outlook or Macmail.

8. What kind of support do you offer?

We currently offer support through email only but will be opening support forums for all our members soon.
Most emails are responded to the same day.

9. What's your server uptime like?

Your sites are currently hosted on top of the line Dual Xeon servers with monthly uptimes of around 99.5%.
Although our server uptime is excellent we do not guarantee uptime.

10. Will I be able to upgrade my hosting later?

Yes, You can see our Upgrade page for more advanced and feature loaded ad free hosting services.

11. Can I change from a subdomain to an owned domain later?

Yes, You can upgrade from a subdomain later if you decide to buy your own domain. Just open a ticket in your account with the new domain you'd like to use.
